December 30th, 2009 – A couple weeks ago, I posted about the Let’s Mix NGDJ competition, which is searching for new DJ talent. The competition consists of two stages, the first of which requires you to get 200 votes by the end of January.

Last night I posted my entry into the competition (including an original mashup that I created specifically for the mix) only to have someone vote me down within half an hour. The internet is a scary and unfriendly place…hold me! If you have a moment, I’d appreciate your vote and if any of you out there also entered the competition, leave your link in the comments and I’ll return the favour. It’d be cool to hear what you guys are creating out there!

In fact, maybe I’ll create a little Soundcloud page so everyone who reads this site can post, and listen to, everyone else’s songs; not just stuff for this contest. Hmmm…food for thought.
