December 6th, 2009 – Do you want to make you holiday lights flash to the music for your upcoming parties? Kip Kay has a Youtube video up that shows you just how to do that. Essentially it involves cutting up a string of lights and plugging it into the secondary speaker output of your amplifier. As the music plays through your speakers, it also sends current through the other output, that is now connected to a string of lights. If you use incandescent bulbs, the lights pulse, and if you modify his instructions and use LED ones, the lights will flicker. Pretty neat stuff!
