Sony ad campaign

October 14th, 2009 – Earlier this year, Sony commissioned Juan Cabral to turn a town in Iceland into “Soundsville”. Installing many different kinds of speakers, in many different locations, Cabral bombarded the town for a week.

I don’t know about you, but no matter how good the music, I don’t think I would have been able to stand it for a week. I wonder if the citizens knew it was going to happen and for how long.

Yeah.. And I wonder how many left town for a “vacation” at the time.
Hmm wonder what happened at night time.. did it play soothing lullaby music or raging rock ;-)

Actually is that for real? Some of those speakers look huge almost an overlay…. Especially those in front of the building at the end of the clip facing the payground??
