May 5th, 2009 - I’m not sure who creates a business around only two products that are the same save for their aesthetics. I’m serious…literally two products. I have to give the entrepreneurs respect for going after a very specific niche market: 4 gigabyte “custom flash usb drives for hip hop producers”.

All the website sells are 4 gigabyte flash drives in the likenesses of an Akai MPC 2000XL and an E-Mu SP1200. Granted, the drives are extremely detailed. 4 gigs seems kind of lacking given the current crop of USB drives, and 40 dollar is pretty pricey. But damned if I don’t like the way they look. They will be shipping on June 12th, 2009 and can be ordered from the website linked below.

Check out the uses for the product listed on the website:
- Drum and Sound Storage
- Pro-Tools / Tracked out Audio Sessions
- Beat CD’s – Catch A&R Attention
- Music, MP3, and Data Storage
- Store your Beats
Because if you don’t know what a USB drive is, you won’t know what to do with it.
