Personally I have been lusting after a Lemur fallowing seeing Deadmau5 rock out shows on his. Although be it way out of my price range I have been searching out other alternatives like the APD-40 and the VCM-100 for control over Ableton. However both units add a larger footprint on the setup and I have found that to be a hassle when using a partners VCM-100 at live shows.

Enter the DJTT article on the MIMO / MTL setup and I find this is a great solution for the starving artist like djs like me out there.

I have been playing with the locked version for a few days now setting up a Template for Ableton6 and so far have been enjoying the app while I wait for the un-lock instructions.

I think Pablos project is a great one and hope he continues the work with the promised Traktor and Layout Configurable versions.

I should say, that post was written hastily in the heady, less measured early days of the site. I think I probably overreacted. Once you have touchscreen hardware, all kinds of things are possible.
