December 25th, 2008 – Today I spent 2 hours digging my car out of a week’s worth of the worst snow Vancouver has experienced since 1969. Hurray for snow plows packing snow against my car! In the picture, the roofline of my car starts right where I cleared up to, just to give you an idea of how much it has snowed since Sunday.
Anyways, I hope everyone is having a great holiday and I will continue to post everyday as usual. If you celebrate Christmas, or you just love a nice 8-bit tune, Doctor Octoroc has released for free download an 18 song set of Christmas classics redone in 8-bit style. Download it and spread some bit-crushed holiday cheer.
I know times are tough this year, but if you have some spare money and download his songs, please consider donating to his cause (his dog had to have surgery to remove kidney stones). If you donate $15, he’ll send you a physical copy of the CD, and you’ll get a warm fuzzy feeling. I realize you could get something similar from sitting on your vintage tube audio gear, but it’s just not the same as helping out Doctor Octoroc’s puppy out.
Stay safe out there and have a great holiday!
50 million imaginary points if you can tell what kind of car I have.
