December 19th, 2008 – Lately, I’ve been seeing all these cool DIY music projects. In today’s processor and transistor age, many of these cool nicknacks require you to have programming knowledge. A common theme in such projects as the Arduinoboy or Arduino keyboard, is the Arduino chipset. Of course, such projects have code available for free online but wouldn’t you like to know how to do it all yourself?
Makershed has a Arduino starter kit that has all the basic gear you need, and info, to start you on your way to Arduino mastery. It’s around $90 which is pretty reasonable for all the stuff you get, and priceless if you use it to make your own custom gear. The kit is sold out right now but they may have some more in before the holidays.
