November 28th, 2008 – Normally I wouldn’t post about something like a guitar strap, but the the word “hemp” caught my eye. I’ve been looking for a new guitar strap for a while but I’ve never gotten around to buying one. I currently have 4 guitars and only 2 straps. It works out, though, since I can only play one guitar at a time…for now.
This strap looks pretty beefy, and since it is manufactured from hemp, I would think it’d be pretty tough. My only concern is that all the hemp textile products I’ve seen like this before, have been pretty rough; kind of like burlap. I wonder if this would be comfortable to wear for long periods of time. If it is, it would be a nice addition to my acoustic guitar. The Ecolution GS2 comes in both the colour you see in the picture, and black, and retails for about $25 online. Pretty reasonable for an eco-product if you ask me.
