August 28th, 2008 – Remember the Alesis premium drum kit for Rockband that I featured a while back? Well, an enterprising modder has made his own drum kit with mesh drum heads for better drum feel. Along with the mesh heads, it also features wooden drum bodies with a wooden rack. Talk about beefy! He’s posted step-by-step instructions so you can create your very own kit. Just be careful the wood doesn’t light on fire with your blazing solo in “Tom Sawyer”.
