July 19th, 2008 – Following my previous post on portable audio recorders, Belkin has released the GoStudio. Just like the Alesis ProTrack, the GoStudio allows you to use your iPod as a hard drive. Unfortunately it only allows recording in 16-bit 44.1khz, but it has two built-in mics for stereo recording as well as hybrid XLR-1/4 inch plugs. The best part is that it’s only $120. It’s worth a try if you’re on a budget.
